My Dorm Shopping List

image

Hi, Lifestyle Speakers! Behold, it is dorm shopping season (Okay, it was dorm shopping season and now it’s resumption season but I’ll have you know that I wrote this a while ago and just finally resurrected it from my draft box, I apologize) and I know I’m not the only one overwhelmed with what to buy. If you’ve not started shopping or don’t know what to buy, don’t worry, I’ve got you. Today, I have come up with a dorm shopping list which is otherwise known as a College Packing List. Here is my list which I know can also be beneficial for you, too.

With no promotional sponsorship but just a tip from a lifestyle speaker to another, I say go ahead and start by downloading this free app called “Checklist” on your phone right now. Checklist provides students like you and I with detailed checklists by even guiding and helping with the checklist process through options such as “Have” and “Packed”. You should totally download it through this packing process. Without further ado, let’s get right into the list I generated for myself through various websites for my dorm room!

The Dorm shopping list, I’ve come to find out after various reviews, can be divided into nine categories:

Clothing, Toiletries & Personal Care,  Laundry Supplies, Bedding & Bath, Furniture & Desk Organization, Décor Items, Electronics & Accessories And Kitchen Supplies.

Because I’ve already shared with you my clothing shopping list , I will be sharing my shopping list from other categories except that with you guys in hopes that it can help you with creating yours.

I got all of my beddings from this amazing website called Our Campus Market/Residence Hall Linens, which provided me with such a great deal that came with:

2 extra-long flat sheets
2 extra-long fitted sheets
2 standard pillowcases
2 extra-fluffy machine washable pillows
1 extra-long reversible comforter
1 extra-soft fleece throw
1 extra-long quilted mattress pad
1 extra-long Memory Foam bed topper
1 extra-long thermal cotton blanket
2 all-cotton bath towels
2 matching cotton hand towels
2 matching cotton wash cloths
2 oversized bath sheets
1 pop-open hamper
2 under bed storage solutions
1 bedside buddy
1 Clip Fan
1 Clip Lamp
I got all that for just $237.55 on a coupon; the varisty collection, which I got, is usually $249. I absolutely recommend them, it is such a huge save of money for all it comes with and even though I started with a lot of reservations, I am yet to have any regrets. I plan on doing a haul to review how great (or not great) the products are when I get to school.
