Get To Know Me Tag!

Hi, Lifestyle Speakers! Today’s blog post is not only my first tag but also a way for me to share myself with all of you guys! There are thirty fun questions below which I’ll be answering with my real-life expressions as I type my reply to them. Let’s get started!!!

). What is your middle name? My middle name is Gbonjumoluwa. It is a Yoruba name, a populous tribe from Nigeria. Gbonjumoluwa means I grew up knowing God.

). What is your favorite color? If you’ve read my previous blog posts, you’ll know that I dislike the word ‘favorite’ because of how permanent the word seems, so, I’ll substitute for ‘current favorite’. My current favorite color is White! White has just been doing it for me lately.

). Who was your first bestfriend? The name of my first ever bestfriend in this world is Ololade Busari. We became friends because we grew up with our mothers as bestfriends so it was only natural and when I think of her, I think of beautiful memories. I remember that her mom used to be a nurse so her mom gave me vaccinations so I have a couple of memories with Lolade holding me down so I could get injected. (Insert crying-laughing emoji). We first lost contact because she moved to London, England and even though we follow each other on FaceBook, we barely keep in contact anymore but she’s one of those people who I’m sure that if we ever have a reunion, it will be as though all those years never came in between us. If you are reading this, girl, hit me up!

). How tall are you? I am 5’7 tall. I’m in between being petite and being a model, lol! I got jokes!

). Cats or Dogs? Definitely Dogs. I can not do cats, heck to the no!

). Funniest moment throughout high school? Y’allllllllll…. My funniest moment through high school is only funny in retrospect and truthfully actually one of the most embarrassing days of my life. It’s quite a mini “story time” but oh, well. So I was seated in the school’s hall, which is an equivalent of an auditorium,  along with other students during an important school meeting and one thing led to another and I was speaking with a friend, shout out to Kehinde Ibukun. One of the teachers who was speaking into the microphone saw me, and so, he asked me to go on the stage. To my utter embarrassment, I had a deep wedgie. In case you don’t know, according to Bing, a wedgie is an uncomfortable tightening of the underpants between the buttocks, typically produced when someone pulls the underpants up from the back as a prank. Y’all, no one pulled nothing in my pants with this particular wedgie. My school uniform was a wrap around skirt so best believe that wedgie was real deep, that’s what I know, lol! A group of guys were seated behind me so the dilemma for me was whether or not I should remove the wedgie to the view of the guys or just walk. I walked, y’all. I walked up to the stage in front of over four hundred students qhilw I had a deep wedgie stuck in my butt crack. Face palm.

). What would you name your children? And now this is my type of question. Currently, I’ve being thinking of my future son and I love the names Oliver, Christian, Omofolajomijojesu and if you are wondering what Omofolajomijojesu means, it is a Yoruba name meaning, (This child gets his wealth from me as well as from Jesus). Yas, honey! I’m also considering Lincoln, and Kennedy. Nothing weird here, people, it’s just an eighteen year old girl thinking of her future son, lol!

). What Sports do you play/Have you played? I am not the most athletic person in the world but I do occasionally enjoy running. Okay, ‘play’ the questions says, Naomi. I don’t current play any sports but for recreation I enjoy soccer, basketball, any adrenaline game with a group of fun people!
